WHAT THEY LOST: Vicious' loss would be all memory of Mao Yenrai, who was a capo for the Red Dragon and (according to Spike) the man that took Vicious in and helped him become the man he is, and whom Vicious refers to as his mentor. While Mao doesn't feature heavily into the series itself, it's clear he's been an important part of his past. Vicious himself had Mao killed, and him losing memories of all of this has the potential to create interesting conflict between himself and the others who share his past, as well.
